Good Morning!! Love changes us,...and we can easily tell those who're in a new romance, by their glow, their increased smiling. And by the way they talk constantly about that new love in their lives. Often we tend to show our love for others in the way of gift giving. We start with candy and flowers, and move to jewelry and cars. The greater the love,...the greater the gift.
"I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."—Ephesians 3:18-19 (NRSV)
God showed us love by giving us Jesus Christ,...Who died on a cross for us. That's how much God loves us. When our roots sink into this love, we are strengthened and God's love shows in our actions towards others. We become more like Christ,...we become Christians.
Love truly is the gift that keeps on giving.
Lord, help us to feel the wonder and depth of Your love. Then help us to love everyone we meet, as much as You love us. Amen.
"When all else fails, only the love of God prevails."
