Women In The Church

Good Morning!! Even today, modern churches of every denomination, still limit or exclude women's involvement in some sectors of operation. There has always been fear about women playing a visible role in the church. Such involvement was, and is however, inevitable,...and even more importantly it's God.

One of those listening was a woman named Lydia,... who was a worshiper of God. "If you consider me a believer in the Lord," she said, "come and stay at my house." And she persuaded us.—Acts 16:14-15 (NIV)

God uses whom ever He will,...from the very beginning, women have played every role in church history, from spy to ruler, and profits to disciples. Women are God's ram in the bush. We men did not believe, a woman did. When men would not speak up, a woman did. When men hid, a woman stood up and out. To shove them in a box, and limit their roles, because of our fear or insecurities, is wrong and not of God.

The church as we know it would not be, if not for the vital involvement of women.
Ours' is a God of inclusion,...not exclusion.
Lord, thank you for the great things you have in store for us,...but even more, we thank you, Lord, for Your constant care and care-givers. Amen.

"In times of crisis, nothing moves us ahead like; prayer, preparation, , and priorities ."
