Truth

Good Morning!! God sees not only the beautiful exterior we try to present to the world, but also the dark and dingy parts of our lives,...all those things we'd like to hide from other people. Yet a wonderful truth remains. Even seeing us through and through, God still loves us,...and yearns for us to be closer to Him.

As he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; for it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy."—1 Peter 1:15 (NIV)

As we learn to allow God into even those secret parts of our lives, the dark and dingy places will be cleaned. When we arrive at that place, by God's grace and guidance, we'll be fully at peace.

We are God's own children, and our company,
...just as we are,...makes God happy.
Dear God, help us to let you into the whole of our lives. May we learn to freely open every corner to Your cleansing, and life-giving presence. In Jesus' name, Amen.
