Pick A Side,...God's Side

Good Morning!! People want to stand out,...yet we're built with a need to fit in,...what an amazing contradiction. We want to be free to make our own choices about life, but some how it's OK to tell others what to do with theirs,...especially if their choices, are different than ours. We want what's best for everyone,...that is until it comes in direct conflict, with what we want or need, for ourselves. So quickly we give in to group pressure,...and the label of right or wrong, is applied later, by the winners.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s Will is—His good, pleasing and perfect Will.”—Romans 12:2 (NIV)

People resisted Jesus, as He moved to change their thoughts, on love and hate,...how we should treat the poor and rich,...even on the Will of God. World history is filled with examples of man following man, and being so very wrong. Only obedience to God's uncorrupted Word, leads to His good and perfect, Will.

Resist the pull of the world,...and you could become the voice of reason, that points people back to the Will of God.

My Lord, My God, allow us to be such people of faith, that our past only make a greater case for Your life changing power. Amen.
