The Lord Speaks

Good Morning!! I learned later in my walk with the Lord to be quiet before Him. I read a scripture passage, and feel God speaking to me. I sometimes determine that the Lord is speaking, because the verse seems special in some way,...applicable in some way, or I consider the verse to be a new perspective. I just stop and ponder, and pray it back to God,...asking Him to make His message clear to me for that day.

Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.—Amos 3: 7 (NKJV)

In the quietness, the Lord speaks to our hearts,...often It's just an impression, at first. Pray about it, and ask God questions about the impression, until His wisdom becomes louder than our thoughts or questions. The next step would be to step out on faith, and test the message. If it is the Lord, He will confirm it by giving you similar messages through His Word, or from others,...or by simply bringing it to pass.

God is faithful, and if you ask, He will answer.

Today, we pray our verses to the Lord, knowing that He will reveal His plan to us,...because we long to be His servants, and we want to live in His will. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
