Where Is Your Faith?

Good Morning!! There are lots of ways to lose, or have our faith weakened. Sometimes we lose faith in the church as an institution, because of the bad behavior of our leaders. It may come from unanswered prayers,...intellectual doubts, or nagging questions like: "How could a good God let bad things happen?" Others can have the faith pounded out of them,...by traumas that break their body, or heart.

...Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.—John 6:68 (NIV)

I haven’t lost faith,...but I have had it shaken. And now I'm a little more understanding, and a little less judgmental, of those who stumble or fall away. We need to know, and remember, that authentic spirituality always includes,...not excludes,...what is bothering us the most. We have to be more like the anguished father in Mark. Faith is not believing because of,...it's believing in spite of.

To stay in the faith, doesn’t mean we have to have solutions to every problem, or answers to every question.

Father God, we believe,...help our unbelief. Amen.

"God doesn't call the qualified,...He qualifies the called."
