Good Morning!! Don't become discouraged when love, peace, and patience don't seem to come naturally,...we all make mistakes, and stumble. But as we continue to turn our attention to all that is "true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable",...we are assured that God is with us, and will give us His peace. If you've never failed, it's only because you've never tried.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.—Philippians 4:8-9 (NIV)
Paul tells us to practice what is noble, right, pure, honorable, and so on. Because when we repeatedly choose to turn our hearts and minds to these things,...we mature. Christian character becomes a natural part of our lives. There is no aspect of our living, that can not benifit from more practice.
Grace is God working with us, as we work to grow in our faith.
Thank You, Father, for our lessons in faith, and life. Now we just need Your help to put them into practice. Amen.
