Good Morning, And Welcome To A Fantastic Friday!!
I've never heard the voice of the God speaking in the same way I
hear people speaking. But, I'm convinced that I have heard Him in many
other ways,...more subtle ways. As I've said before, God speaks from
the pages of my Bible, from pulpits, in friendly conversations.
Pharaoh said, "Who is the LORD, that I should obey Him and let Israel go? I do not know the LORD and I will not let Israel go."—Exodus 5:2 (NIV)
Pharaoh could easily be speaking for the world today, in the scriptures above. Pharaoh wouldn't obey the voice of someone he didn't know. How is that really any different than those that claim to know God,...but won't obey Him? He's right,... if you don't know the Lord; it's not likely you'd hear and obey His voice,...until you're made to know Him.
"The storms that threaten to destroy us,...God will use to strengthen us."

The voice of the Shepherd is like music to His sheep.
Gracious
Lord, you have given us ears to hear and hearts to receive. Now we pray
for the will to obey your voice that we know and trust. Amen.
