Understand

Good Morning!! We have all we need, when we truly understand what God has provided for us through His Holy Spirit. Many times we run to our families, friends and counselors for guidance or instruction. Many times we search through books, CDs and DVDs for guidance,...even though the Lord in His mercy and grace has told us to come to Him. By reading His Word and learning from Him, we could avoid a lot of unnecessary hurts, sins and problems, that we continually run into head first.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.—Psalm 32:8-9 (NIV)

Go to the source for instruction and counsel,...go to God, the Maker of all things. He will give you the desires of your heart, if you truly turn to Him. Life's changes can be scary, but the Lord promises to watch over you, lead you and help you, as you chose to trust only in Him. In His council, we will receive peace and in time, He will give us understanding.

Lord help us to put the faith, and time in You, that we have so willingly place in others. No one knows us, or our situations, like You do. Allow us to rest on Your promises, more each day,...for it is in You that we have our very being. In Jesus name, Amen.
