Why Ask "Why Me?"

Good Morning, It's Another Wonderful, Worshipful Wednesday!! Believers and non-believers alike ask; " Where is God in the midst of all this? ",...in speaking of war, violence, tyranny, injustice, suffering, and pain. God is with us, sharing our experiences, rejoicing with us in good times, and giving us comfort and hope in times of adversity,...like always.

Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.—Psalm 42:5-6 (NIV)

God is here for and with us, no matter what comes our way. If it were not for our sickness, would we know He was a healer? If it were not for our hardships, would we know Him as a comforter? And if it were not for our poverty, would we have any need or understanding of His riches?

It is by faith that we; Praise God for all that is past,...and trust God for all that is to come. 

Holy Spirit, keep our hope fixed on God and His Word,...in times of tragedy and loss,...blessing and goodness. Amen.
